Morecambe Lodge coastal holiday park is perfectly situated on the North Lancashire Coast, just a short drive from the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. This gives you so many entertainment options all year round, both close to home and just a short drive away. And with Easter coming up, from the 18th to the 21st of April, there’s even more to do in the area.

Easter is a little later this year, so the weather should be warmer and the days will be longer. That makes it the perfect time to get away to our coastal holiday park with your own permanent holiday home.

There is so much to do locally, on the coast, in Lancaster and in the Lake District beyond, with something for everyone to enjoy.   1. Easter Animals at Greenland Farm Village – Easter just wouldn’t be Easter without fluffy chicks and cute baby lambs, and you’ll find them all and more at Greenlands Farm Village this spring, with Easter themed events throughout the day. Located just off the A6 at Tewitfield.

  2. Easter Bunny Hunt in Lancaster – follow the trail through the historic city to discover the history of the city. Find all ten missing Easter bunnies for your chance to win a prize.

  3. Easter Egg Trails in The Lakes – want more egg-citing fun? You’ll find Easter egg trails happening all over the Lake District, in association with the National Trust and Cadbury’s. Choose from four trails including Coniston Fell Foot, Tarn Hows, Hill Top Near Sawrey and Claife Heights!

  4. Funland on the Bay in Morecambe – enjoy all the fun of the fair at Funland by the Dome in Morecambe. Packed with traditional fairground rides and attractions, it’s a must for all the family.

  5. Jump Rush Trampoline Park – struggling to get the kids off to bed? Burn off all of that excess energy with a big session of bouncing at Jump Rush trampoline park in Morecambe. It’s perfect for any fan of Gladiators, with obstacle courses, climbing walls and so much more to tackle. 

  6. Spring in the Lake District – from kayaking on Lake Windermere to a more sedate steam yacht gondola cruise on Coniston, there’s something for all tastes and activity levels in the Lake District, and all within easy reach of your coastal holiday park.

  8. Cartmel Food Market – meet the producers and sample amazing, tasty treats at this famous food market in medieval Cartmel. Perfect for stocking up for your self-catering caravan holiday at your coastal holiday park.

  9. Hauntings, Hangings & Horrid Happenings - A Walking Tour of Lancaster! – a two hour terrifying tour of the city starting from Lancaster Castle at 7.30 on 11th and 26th April. Book online at Eventbrite.

Just chill on the beach – of course, with everyone off for their Easter break, you might just want to avoid the crowds and traffic congestion altogether. After all, with the beautiful beach just a couple of minutes’ walk from your holiday home or touring caravan, who needs to head out into the bank holiday madness?
